To expand its Asia operations and strengthen its support to Japanese Bio-Pharmaceutical companies, MPR completes its official registration as a CRO in Japan and sets up a new office with necessary functional and operational staff.
The new office will lead business development with Japanese Bio-Pharma companies and undertake the executions of clinical trial projects for sponsors outside of Japan that plan to perform studies in Japan. MPR team will also assist Bio-Pharma companies in regulatory approval and registration of their health products. MPR presence in Japan and its support to research projects started few years ago, but with this move, the Company intends to expand and strengthen its presence and operation.
Several researchers with extensive development backgrounds will support MPR staffing including Motoharu Kondo, MD, PhD, a leading researcher, Emeritus professor at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and Emeritus Director at AINO Hospital. Supporting its new operation in Japan and Asia also is Ken Uno, MD, PhD. Dr. Uno brings to MPR team in Asia extensive experience working with a network of sites and clinical research staff and strong experience with regulatory bodies in Japan and China.
