MPR and Medidata partner to offer a solution to manage currency risks.

MPR Inc. and Medidata Solutions partner to offer the clinical trials community innovative tools and solutions to manage currency risks. The methodology to manage currency risks is based on using Medidata Grant Manager to follow the innovative process that MPR introduced to the industry earlier.

Grant Manager could be used to evaluate the costs to conduct the study in several countries using difference currencies. With Grant Manager initial costs evaluation as an input, MPR models and formulas then are used to optimize cash flows and currency risks during the study and suggest appropriate currency risks management tools.

An introductory presentation of this methodology was introduced to the research community by MPR and Medidata during the iiBIG, March 2009 conference in Princeton, NJ.
