MPR and Asterand Bioscience execute a master agreement for research collaboration for The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) project lead by the National Cancer Institute.

Asterand Bioscience is the leading global provider of high quality, well characterized human tissue and human tissue-based research solutions to drug discovery scientists. Asterand Bioscience has office locations in Detroit, MI, USA and Royston, Hertfordshire, UK and a network of over 75 collaborative donor institutions worldwide. They offer numerous products and services to provide a comprehensive approach to meet the research needs of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic companies, as well as academia.

Under this agreement, MPR will have exclusive resources and surface coverage expanding operational support in the following countries:

• Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Mexico, Peru, Columbia, Chile, Jordan, Trinidad, Jamaica and Nigeria
• Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia
• Czech Republic and Hungary
